- Recuperar el hábitat y zonas de alimentación de la cotorra serrana oriental.
- Recuperar el hábitat del pino enano.
- Crear brigadas corta incendios.

Goals
- Reforestar 31,500 individuos de Pinus stylesii y P. hartweggii.
- Colecta de semillas de Pinus spp. consideradas dentro del hábitat y dieta de la cotorra.
- Producción en vivero forestal de las semillas de Pinus spp. colectadas.
- Dispersión manual de 5,000 semillas paletizadas de P. culminicola.
- Capacitar personas que puedan atender incendios forestales.
- Reforest with 31,500 individuals of Pinus stylesii and P. hartwegii
- Collect seeds of Pinus species considered part of the parrot’s habitat and diet
- Produce seedlings of collected Pinus seeds in a forest nursery
- Manually disperse 5,000 pelletized seeds of Pinus culminicola
- Train individuals to respond to forest fires

Cause
El cambio climático, aunado a la tala ilegal de los bosques, han puesto en peligro de extinción al pino enano y a la cotorra serrana, especies catalogadas en peligro de extinción.

La cotorra serrana es una especie endémica de México, vive únicamente en los bosques de la Sierra Madre Oriental. El pino enano es una especie que sólo se distribuye en Nuevo León y Coahuila a una altitud superior a 3,000 msnm.
The maroon-fronted parrot is an endemic species of Mexico, living only in the forests of the Sierra Madre Oriental. The dwarf pine is a species that only grows in Nuevo León and Coahuila at altitudes above 3,000 meters above sea level
